  • 8 oz short-cut pasta (penne, rotini, or similar)
  • ½ cup reserved pasta water
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped cilantro, for garnish

Spice Mix

  • 2 teaspoons garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
